20 Celebs You Didn’t Know Wrote a Novel (Or Two!)

Celebrities are known for trying their hand at directing, singing, and performing on Broadway, but many also have turned to writing. There are plenty of celebrity memoirs on the shelves, however, many actors and actresses have penned fiction as well. This list of 20 celebrity authors of novels may surprise you.

20. Lauren Graham

The Gilmore Girls wrote a well-received comedic novel about a woman trying to become an actress in mid-1990’s New York. The novel, Someday, Someday, Maybe, was published in 2013.

19. Steve Martin

Steve Martin is the author of several novels, one of which, Shopgirl, was adapted into a film. His books frequently make the best-sellers lists.
